Syntech PU Foam 30 Syntech PU Foam 30 is an expanded polyurethane with a nominal density of 30 kg per m³; it is a closed cell foam, developed using a new generation blowing agent designed to adhere to various supports and capable of providing both excellent thermal insulation and minimizing air leaks. As part of a system, it has been designed as a closed cell, tested and evaluated for use as a composite system to provide a complete air barrier and to provide exceptional performance in reducing heat transfer, achieving incredible benefits such as minimizing the humidity transmission and air leaks. The performance of Syntech PU Foam 30 has been evaluated on iron, sheet metal, steel, glass, concrete and wood as a composite system or together as a single system. Syntech PU Foam 30 must be sprayed at pressures that fall within the range of 140 -160 bar and at temperatures that can vary from 35 to 45 °C. It is preferable to wait at least 30 days for the base to mature. Make sure the surface to be treated is dry, mature and free from damp spots. As a first coat, the product can be diluted with water at 40/50% in order to uniform and consolidate the base. It is a mix of a high action dehumidifier, ready to use, only mix with water with a NHL natural hydraulic lime base, Botticino, kaolin, silicate and lime aggregates, mineral fibres and specific agents. It is a mix , together with the adequate inert substances, that enables plaster to be created with high breathability, free of cement, resins or solvents and radio-emitting agents, in compliance with bio-architectural parameters. Breathable dehumidifying plaster on the walls (on adding aggregates). Prepare the surface to plaster by removing, if present, the existing plaster, up to a height over approx. 50/100 cm compared to the line of persistent damp. The walls for application should in any case be clean, intact, free of containment, dust, flaking or inconsistent parts, conveniently saturated with water (saturated to dry surfaces). In the presence of saline efflorescence, accurately remove it and give a preventive treatment with a spray application of Sanareg. Then, a subsequent preliminary construction of a rough coat with breathable grip, with the specifically prepared Untersana, or "spraying" (here and there) the same mix as described below. Prepare the plaster by firstly placing in the mixer approx. 2/3 water for the necessary mix, and then respectively adding Sanatrock SA and clean, select sand with the desired granulometry (you are advised to use sand with a maximum diameter of up to 2-3 mm). This objective is however very easy to reach with minimum attention to the useful mixing time. This adhesion spray must be applied with a low thickness (of a few millimetres) using a plastic-fluid consistency, and can be applied with the same Sanatigh product mixed with about 20% water. In case of particularly deteriorated masonry, it is recommended to use a specific Untersana product to make the rough coat. PLASTER The following application of Sanatigh must be made before the complete hardening of the rough coat (within 24-48 hours if the rough coat is made with Sanatigh, and 12-24 hours if made with Untersana). Put about 2/3 of the mixing water into the mixer, and then gradually add Sanatigh and the remaining water, continuing to mix into a homogeneous, lump-free mixture of the desired consistency for trowel or plastering machine application. The hydro-expansive capacity of RINGSEAL L­19 has been tested in the laboratory with three different types of water: demineralised water, salt water and water with strongly basic Ph (to simulate the conditions in contact with the concrete). In the standard version, the seal RINGSEAL L­19 is sized for the usual measures of the blade caisson spacers, normally used in the construction industry: in this case with a width of about 20 mm, in the version straight/flat or "twisted" (designed to minimise the propensity to form deformities during the pouring of the concrete in the formwork). Syntech Primer EP-W Syntech Primer EP-W is a solvent-free two-component epoxy resin to be used as a bonding primer for applying all epoxy cycles on concrete surfaces and concrete conglomerates in general. Syntech Primer EP-W is formulated to achieve an elevated impregnation, consolidation and adhesion effect of the substrate. It can also be used on wet surfaces. Syntech Primer EP-W even penetrates deep into compact surfaces, effectively consolidating the support. It also has a great resistance to water and aggressive solutions whilst allowing water vapour to pass through. Promotes adhesion for epoxy coatings as well as for porous and deteriorated substrates, along with acting as a cement and concrete consolidation agent. The support on which the epoxy, polyurethane or methacrylic system is to be laid must be suitable for withstanding the stresses resulting from the intended use, such as static or dynamic loads, impacts, thermo-hygrometric expansion, vibrations etc. As regards the characteristics of the substrate (maximum humidity, cohesion, strength class, flatness, etc.) and the preparation of the surface that will accommodate the resin system, we recommend the requirements set out in chapter 5 of the UNI 10966 standard ("RESIN SYSTEMS FOR SURFACES HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL - INSTRUCTIONS FOR DESIGN AND APPLICATION "). In any case, carefully clean and degrease the surfaces, removing any kind of dirt, paint residues or incoherent parts. The humidity of the support must be <= 4%. Evaluate the most convenient type of mechanical preparation (shot peening, sandblasting, hydro-washing, etc.). The surfaces must also be free from discontinuity, and possibly leveled and regularized with products from the FLOOR line or the REPAR line or grouted with Syntech AS 21. In the event of the presence (even suspected) of humidity deriving from capillary rising from the substrate, it is recommended to apply the Syntech Pavidamp epoxy resin for "wet bottoms" beforehand.
